
epresentatives with the UCA Police Department, Student Government Association, UCA Executive Staff, Physical Plant and Housing and Residence Life Departments conducted a safe walk on Thursday, November 17, 2011 to identify potential safety issues on campus. The goal of Operation Safe Walk was to identify any potential safety hazards in an effort to improve and enhance the safety of the UCA campus.
Here you will find the initial report for Operation Safe Walk 2011 which includes an itemized list of all safety hazards or ideas for safety improvements that were identified by the Safe Walk teams that methodically surveyed the campus.
Also below you will find information that was presented to the Student Government Association as a follow-up to keep the students and the greater UCA community informed on the progress of repair and/or construction projects that were initiated as a result of the Operation Safe Walk effort. We encourage you to review the presentation to SGA to ascertain how the findings are organized. The progress reports here will be updated periodically.
